Check Out what former Regional Rep, Danny Cohen wrote about the 2008 Southeast Youth-Only Retreat:
Another YMJA retreat has come and gone and it has been another beautiful success. From April 4-6, 120 teens and leaders came to together to worship and receive from the holy God of Israel. There were games and competitions, prayer and worship, and four powerful teachings from Rabbi Eric Carlson. The theme of this weekend was “In His Presence.” Each teaching emphasized the importance pf letting God change the heart and not letting another moment go by without spreading the good news. It was an awesome sight to see so many teens worshipping God through music and then receive prayer from their leaders. I know that some cabins talked long into the night (cabin 2), while others hit the lights quickly. Everyone, however, became a close knit group of friends and, more importantly, children of God and nothing makes God happier then to see His children worship Him in spirit and in truth. If you couldn’t make it this year then I encourage you to plan to come next year. Let God do great works in your life and let Him build you up through friends and teachings. Everyone who came was blessed in some way. Let God do that for you too.
Southeast Regional Conference:

Location: Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida
Look what former Regional Rep, Danny Cohen wrote about last year's program:
This year’s Southeast Regional was blessed with awesome worship and teachings. From Friday until Sunday afternoon, the YMJA had a full schedule of events! The conference may have officially started with the Friday night main Erev Shabbat Service, but the real fun started aftewards when the high school and college students congregated and played two hysterical games in-order to get to know each other. Saturday was so jam packed and active, I quite literally thought the morning was one day and the evening was another. On Saturday morning, Youth Leader, Jude Caracelo taught about “Freedom From Sin in Yeshua.” The Saturday morning Shabbat service followed. This was a great service to attend because it was run by both teens and adults together. Our field trip this year was to Ripley’s Believe or Not Museum. It offered some pretty cool and a little creepy artifacts, but everyone enjoyed themselves. The second teaching, “Free to Worship”, took place after the Saturday night main service and the Lord blessed many people through prayer and songs of praise. Sunday morning found us all back in Salon 5 with some worship and praise and then back-to-back teachings. Rabbi Joseph Bell spoke on “Freed to Hear” and Mark Dayan spoke on “Free to follow.” Our final event before the closing service Sunday night was an interactive game of The Price is Right which offered some nice prizes for the winners. Southeast was a great time full of fun, fellowship, and the Lord. If you didn’t come, and especially if you did, come next year and experience what the Lord can do.

Hi! I’m Michelle and I’m a 16 year old junior in high school that is currently enrolled in the Ft. Myers’ IB program. I was born in New York City and, of course, am a big Yankee’s fan. I love to express myself through art. A lot of the time my inspiration comes to me in prayer, which I think is cool. I would love to help or pray for You, so let me know how I can support You!

Hey everyone, my name is Judith and I'm 16 years old, goin' on 17 in October. I like to keep busy with my family, friends, sports, and leadership roles at school and in my youth group-The Temple Teens. Congregational Beth Hallel has been my second home since I was born, and I wouldn't trade the praise, worship, liturgy, and Rabbi Kevin's sermons for the world! At 4, I started playing Softball and I've loved sports ever since. I am grateful for everything I have and all the opportunities I come across. Talking and praying with people is one of my favorite pastimes, so if you have any ideas, prayer requests, or just want to talk-email, facebook, text, or call me!
